We’re generally of the “go big or go home” entertaining types.  Back in Maplewood we gave a huge July 4th BBQ for years.  Then as significant people in our lives passed, Memorial Day became a time of celebration. That, owning a seafood business and our reluctance to entertain and go to or give a gazillion events brought about our annual “Lobsterfest” where we try and memorialize those no longer with us as well as celebrate important events in people’s lives over the past year.  Each year it’s different and each year getting people accommodations for the weekend becomes more difficult.  Yes, asking people to travel for an event, includes accommodations – and some unique goody bags!   Luckily, and one of the main reasons we have Lobsterfest is that we have family in the area.
